For 55 years, Common Pantry has worked to meet the emergency needs of their local community by providing healthy food, kinship and support to help overcome poverty-related challenges.
Volunteer, help a friend in need, and join them for various community-oriented year-round events such as wine socials and kid-friendly competitions.
Taste Love at Lucila's!
Come for the sweets, stay for the amazing owners! Longing to share the taste of her childhood in Argentina, Lucila opened up a bakery to sell her handmade artisanal alfajores with Chicago. Alfajores are made with two delicate cookies and a luscious dollop of creamy dulce de leche caramel in between.
Salsa's Family Market
True "mom and pop" business owners, Salsa's Family Market opened just a few years ago and has already become a neighborhood staple. Located just north of Damen and Lawrence, stop by for their homemade Mexican food and catch them at pop ups around Chicago selling mouthwatering tacos, salsas, tamales, and more staples!
My Block, My Hood, My City
This non profit aims to inspire the youth and empower their communities through immersive opportunities, events, and workshops. Some of their annual success stories include a march down Martin Luther King Jr Drive every Winter where participants decorated 500+ homes and poles with holiday lights and decor and 'Downtown Day' where 1000 kids are gifted 50$ to explore downtown Chicago, where most of them have never been despite living a few miles away. We encourage our community to support and explore this impactful non profit.
The Perfect Cup
But first...coffee! Our favorite coffee shop has to be The Perfect Cup. It's cozy and delicious, perfect for those chilly Chicago winter mornings. Located on Damen and Leland, you may see us there working or meeting with clients!
Roundabout Brand Studio
We are so lucky to share our office with Roundabout, brand studio spearheaded by our dear friend and colleague, Andi Mints Gilreath. We are always invigorated by the creativity and passion she brings to the office with services ranging from digital branding to packaging and print to visual identity. We couldn't reccomend her enough!
